To the Wonderful, Caring Women of Dinner and a Cause…

Our event on December 3 at
Patricia LaCorte’s beautiful oceanside Fresh Bistro,
was a wonderful success. We cannot
thank Patricia and her staff
enough for their generosity and help in hosting our event.

We are very proud to announce that,
thanks to all of you, we raised $7,565. for the Salvation Army
Not to mention the wonderful assortment of gifts that will definitely brighten the spirits
of many young people on our island for the Holidays.  Great Job, Ladies!!!
.
The Salvation Army does such an amazing job all year around providing food, clothing and a friendly smile to our less fortunate neighbors. It is especially evident during the holidays, the wonderful work that they do. It seems like the ringing of the bells and the red pots are such icons of the spirit of giving and a reminder of how fortunate we all are.   We were thrilled to be able to help them at this special time of year.
If you would like to know more about how you can help the Salvation Army all year around, please give them a call at 340-776-0070 or check out their website:  http://www.use.salvationarmy.org/use/www_use_vi.nsf/vw-dynamic-index/800C30E10B6C9E00802573410073A714?openDocument&charset=utf-8
Most of all we want to thank you, each and every one of you that attend our events and lend your support. Without your support, generosity and attendance, Dinner and a Cause would not exist.  We are so lucky to live in such a caring and fabulous community.
Wishing you all the very best for the
Holidays and for 2015!!
Your Dinner and a Cause Team,
Joanie, Letty, Eula, Kristy,
Suzanne and Pam
Important announcement to the Ladies of Dinner and Cause,

I am so sorry to say that the address that I put on the Evite invitation to our most recent event for the Salvation Army at Fresh was incorrect.

I looked it up on the "Contact Us" page of their website.  Apparently, that is only their physical address.  Luckily, I forgot to write my check at the event, and had to mail it in.  Yesterday it was returned to me as "Undeliverable".  Otherwise I probably would not have known.

If you were unable to attend our event or if you mailed in your donation, will you please be sure that your donation was received.  The telephone number at the Salvation Army is 776-0070.  If they have not received it or if you have received your check back, or if anyone would like to make an additional donation, their correct mailing address is as follows:

The Salvation Army
P.O. Box 74
St. Thomas, VI   00804

I know the people at the Salvation Army would greatly appreciate your taking the extra time to be sure that your generous donation received.  Not to mention the people that they help.

I am so sorry about this mistake.  I promise, from now on I will double check all the details.

We hope that you all have a Wonderful Holiday Season and the Best Ever New Year.

All the best,

Pam
