News about March 11, 2011 event for Camp Shriver.
Wow!  What a Wonderful Dinner and a Cause event we had at the First Lady’s Garden.  It was just breathtaking in that beautiful garden in the late afternoon sun.  We cannot thank our First Lady Cecile deJongh enough for hostessing such a gorgeous event.
I am sorry this thank you is a bit late getting out, but we were waiting for some very special news, and it just came in!  Financial Trust has agreed to match our funds! We are so excited to let you know that our total donation to Camp Shriver, will be $14,200 raised at our event.  We are so thankful for their generous donation. 
We were 86 in attendance and raised over $7000.   Giving us a grand total of over $134,000 to date.  Hooray for all of you!

We would also like to thank Chef Nibbs and all the staff at government house for helping make this a wonderful and rewarding event. 
As Always, we mostly want to thank each and every one of you for attending our event.  Without you Dinner and a Cause would not exist and we are so thankful for your support.  It is such a great feeling to be able to help less fortunate people in our community. 
We thank you all, from the bottom of our hearts, for making Dinner and a Cause the marvelous success that it is.  We look forward to seeing you at our next event.
